And the pessimist in me says this is just smoke by the Jazz to get some other deal done... :-D

That rumored trade alone makes Minnesota a worse team, especially with Karl-Anthony Towns injured, so I hope there's another deal that would follow. They could use another competent wing off the bench.

Maybe that's where all the Bones Hyland juice comes in to play?

The guy is young and a scorer. Yes... he's abysmal on defense, but maybe they think they can hide him better if he's not out there with Russell?

You're absolutely right, Cam. We'd be worse out of the gate, even if Conley stays healthy and that's a big if. We'll have to see what all this looks like when the smoke clears. It sounds real, but the devil is in the details. I suspect the Wolves will only get Conley and that any future picks will go to Utah while Vanderbilt and Beasley will end up going to the Lakers. If so, that would be a great deal for the Lakers, a good one for the Jazz and a terrible one for the Wolves.

I was thinking the same thing. If this three-way deal happens, then I see the Wolves dealing Naz for Hyland.

Prince is rumored to be going for Hyland. And as i had said earlier, it would help fill the shooting void left by DLO. This is going to shock most of you, but I think DLO for just about anything is a good deal for us. But I have to believe we would be getting more than just Conley. If that's all it is, it's hard to figure out what TC is doing.

I disagree completely, we need more than just Conley for DLo but if that's the deal we are easily better immediately this season. I don't care how much he's slowed down, he has 10x the basketball IQ compared to DLo.

Let this serve as a foreshadowing of any KAT trade talks this summer for anyone who still thinks he'll bring back a bunch of first rounders /swaps

Also, keep an eye on Anthony Davis. I have a sneaky suspicion he might be on the move.
