Yeah, it's kind of amazing how close his stats are to last year in almost all areas. And yes, he has the best on/off numbers among our starters...second on the team only to JMac. But as you said, he hasn't taken the leap a lot of 3rd year players take, and much of my optimism coming into the year was dependent upon that. DLo is who we thought he was, and Nowell is much worse than we hoped he would be after last year. With JMac out, I continue to put my hopes in Ant as our backcourt savior, and we just haven't consistently gotten enough out of him this season.

Edwards volume stats are very close to last year. Some of the advanced stats show regression. In either case, everybody expected improvement.
Stagnation in year 3 for a potential superstar is a bad sign.
But there are two rubs: (1) The Timberwolves are obviously going through some major personnel changes, so some leeway should be granted. (2) Edwards had one of the most remarkable rookie seasons I've ever seen... in his sudden midseason improvement. If he did it once...
