Yeah, Culver had a very nice pre-season. He was used as a PG at times, and can play the wing, too. He is looking like a very promising pick. And our 19-year old rookie was pretty damn impressive tonight as well. I have been especially impressed with his defensive ability to keep his guy in front of him. Very encouraging.

My only critique tonight is I think Edwards should have been on the court and taking those shots at the end of regulation that Culver bricked. Probably would have ended it in regulation. I know it's only pre-season but going 0-3 into the regular season all against teams we should be close to for the playoff hunt would have been a tough pill to swallow. Hopefully this gives us some kind of momentum and building a winning culture means finishing off comebacks like this even in meaningless games.

I believe I wrote this last year... and the year previously...
Luka Doncic is one of the best players in the league.
But he might be the biggest whiner in the league. He's truly insufferable.
[Note: As noted the first time I wrote that... it works. He's been getting the superstar treatment for his entire career... in part because he's always acted the part. The indignation. The confidence. The browbeating. The incessant whining every 20 second on the court...]
