Risk: Team loses often down the stretch and KG blows up often and is a negative influence.
Risk part two: We get little value for Thad if nothing else is involved. *Have extra money for next year.
Reward Options
#1 - KG's leadership teaches these kids defense and how to win close games.
#2 - We win and convince him to play one more year.
#3 - He becomes our next head coach and is intense and demands the same out his players providing leadership to guide them to a playoff birth next season.
Two fun trades to consider
MN - KG, Dragic & R. Bullock
BKN - Thad & Budinger
PHX - Neal & AB
or
MN - KG & Plumlee
BKN - Thad, Neal & Dieng
KG has lost often since being a Net. When have u ever heard him complain.. he lost his share as a Wolve too. Ur reaching if u think he'll ever blow up . got any proof that says otherwise?
Didn't he slap someone in practice on the Wolves back in the day?
You don't have to do it on the court for it to be a bad influence. I also said I'd take my chances on a KG trade in another post because I want to see him back with our team :)

Jordan punched Will Purdue in the face in practice. I think it would be good for the kids to see the type of hustle and work ethic needed to be a franchise player.
If we could get their first rounder (which ends up being Atlanta's) along with Garnett I would be ok with it. Hindsight being 20/20 (this is actually foresight for some including me) trading that first rounder for Young was a pretty big mistake. Flip wanted to compete this year, I don't blame him, but this roster couldn't compete in the west. Had everybody stayed healthy and we still had Love I don't think we would have made the playoffs.

It was probably Wally Szerbiack, but he probably deserved it
