Rubio should have been playing in the end. He can execute much better than any player on the team. We are a predictable team down the stretech with jj as the 1. ITs automatic either jj takes a shot or he gives it to love. Rubio being in there makes other players a threat to score as well.
Rubio can play with jj down the stretch if jj is hot. Tonoight, he should have gotten brewers minutes at crunch time. Memphis doesnt have an iso wing scorer that we would need brewer in there for. Martin can check prince while rubio can cover lee.

When has Ricky come through in the clutch this season?

JJ played in the final minutes because Memphis has to honor his shot, with Ricky in they fall back and make everything harder on the other four players.
Have you been watching a different Barea to me this season?
You realize that Ricky doesn't score worth a crap right in the 4th.....and most of the time? Atleast there is a decent possibility that JJ might score. Ricky doesn't score at the end of games
We might as well let JJ start then, right? Since we're at our best with JJ... since he has a possiblity (a low one) of scoring. Flawed logic. Ricky's the second biggest reason why tonight's game was even close and he only scored six points. Why? Because he makes things happen.

Period? No He's right. the right basketball play ain't gonna be made when we are playing 4 on 5 in terms of scoring. JJ spreads the floor Ricky doesn't. Our two scorers get doubled, who cares if Ricky shoots?

Why even play Ricky at all then? Apparently he doesn't do anything right on offense. JJ's a goddamn saint. He should start. Ya know, since he has the possibility of scoring...
This is retarded.

Yeah, not putting Rubio back in is a huge mistake. Shame on Adelman.
