Rudy has been so good from the line in Fiba play. He is shooting like 88% from the line in Fiba play this summer

Latvia within 3 with 4 to play. Rudy might be having an early exit to fiba

Rudy with a block, a bucket and kept 2 possessions on the glass down the stretch. Still a 3 pt game with 2 to play

Gobert called for an offensive foul on a rebound (tough call). France tails, 37 seconds left

Fransesco misses open 3 for the win at the buzzer.

You guys asked for Rudy not to play and it will be a quick summer for France.

As demoralizing of a loss this is for France, they're lucky this doesn't risk their ability to qualify for the Olympics (since they're the host nation).

But Rudy's probably gonna just sit out the 17-32 games. Incredible that in this tournament, France is gonna finish likely near the bottom.

KAT 20/11/5 7/15 FG, 4/9 from 3. Somehow was a -4, but honestly, the final score doesn't indicate how the game looked most of the night. Italy almost pulled one outta their asses late.
Good to see KAT winning games, regardless of his individual performance. Just get in the habit of winning games where something is on the line and he doesn't foul out or cough the ball up at pivotal moments!
Dane made this point on twitter. But this DR team is a lot like early day wolves with Kat. There is not much shooting around Kat and teams are loading up on Kat. So Kat needs to make the right play, what he has and hope his team hits their shots. The reason Kat fg% is down is when he puts the ball on the floor 3 people are guarding him leading you poor FG% but he gets fouled a ton. Kat has been so under control this tournament and his presence alone has been amazing for the DR. So much impact then the stat sheet and the stat sheet has been good!

Shout out to the DR PG feliz who has been great though 2 games and has really relieved some of the load Kat has
KAT looks happy. Real genuine happiness. He's not worried about anything but playing right now and good things are happening with these games. He's into the games on the bench and I hope he lets Connelly know that Jean is someone to go after once he's able to leave Spain

Wow, what a disappointment for France. Interesting contrast with KAT, who has helped lead his DR team to a 2-0 tournament start. But yeah, not too unhappy that Rudy will be fresh and healthy coming into camp.

I just really hope he buys into a Timberwolves offense that may not get him the touches he'd like and he knows when to roll hard to the hoop and when to stay out of the way and trail the play versus clogging up the lane.

Good to hear that he seems to be in a good place mentally. The guy is as fragile as a jilted girlfriend! Need him to come into camp locked in, but also grounded in how he can best help the team.
