I liked the Alexander pick at the time. Seemed like he had great character. Him and Treadwell seem to be getting it at about the same time. We certainly expected more from both sooner.

We are so deep at safety I expect to see more big Nickel moving forward. I like that look a lot. If you have a couple safety's that can cover the slot you are set and if they are big enough to cover TE's that is even better. I think we have a group that can do that.

This is the deepest safety group I've ever seen.

Sam Darnold is an INT machine. Vikings pick him off for two.

Not the prettiest game and there were some more injuries but the Vikings got it done. Darnold wasn't great but he was a little better than the stats show with some guys with some really bad drops.

A game like this where the wind was an issue makes you want to get the running game going and it makes sense why teams want a guy with a big leg. Wile helped keep them in the game with some good punts. Meanwhile I would have liked to see someone with a bigger leg kicking off.

With our CB's going down left and right every game and a guy like Patrick Peterson wanting out of Arizona is that a Super Bowl or bust trade you guys would look into? I have no idea what his salary looks like or if we could fit it by just trading a pick, but is that something we should look into?

I'd assume it's worth making a call but he makes a lot of money so it would take being pretty creative to make it work. I read one article and it suggested teams like the chiefs and Eagles among others had a real need at CB so it could be pretty competitive as to what it may take to get him.

If they're going to trade for any position it'd have to be O-line.

97 is back. I am not sure he plays this week, but I am happy he is back.

Great news! The team is already on a roll the past two weeks, and this can only help going into a big Sunday night game (I'll be there...with earplugs!).

Even more important is the classy way both the organization and Griffin handled this sensitive situation...most of us are struggling finding good guys across town at Target Center, but the Vikings are an easy team to get behind right now.

Agreed!
