Yeah coach Lebron. They pulled the pace back to the 90s.

Cavs shoot 26 % and celtics shoot 18% from 3 and they combined to hoist 74 attempts from 3 which is near half of the total shot attepts this game. This is the new nba.

He had kyrie in cleveland and wade in miami. The rest of the team will basically be turned into spot up shooters and off ball cutters. See love and bosh, they were 20+ppg high usage guys who has to adjust their game and turn themselves into spot up shooters to play effectively alongside lebron.

Lebron is great and he makes shooter look great. But he need another elite perimeter guy to run with to win championships. He doesnt have that with this cavs team.

Jimmy Butler?

Lebron would be great for the wolves. Give him the MLE.

That group the Cavs were putting out there makes you wish you had Love and he hasn't been that good. Seriously though that's pretty much a trash group around Lebron. There isn't sure top 20 starter on the floor with him in that game. Any top level starters would be better than those guys. Yeah they miss Kyrie. Hell they could have used that Wade guy in the playoffs.

I don't want to take away from Lebron and the Cavs but the Celtics down the stretch flat out missed some good looks if they would have made some of those shots it would have been a game at the end. It's a make or miss league sometimes. The Celtics didn't make shots and the Cavs did.

That's a good summation of what happened tonight.

And let's not forget that the fact the Celtics made it as far as they did is remarkable. After losing their prize free agent acquisition in the first game of the season they eventually lost their prize trade acquisition and starting PG, Kyrie Irving, not only for the entire playoffs but for more regular season games than Jimmy Butler missed. Oh, and they lost Smart for the final regular season stretch as well as the beginning of the playoffs while also losing Brown for a number of regular season games because of a concussion he suffered at Target Center, not to mention the hamstring injury that hobbled him for part of the playoffs. Yet, the Celtics won 55 regular season games and made it to 7th game of the NBA finals. Credit Danny Ainge for acquring talented players and creating a roster that was both talented and deep. Then credit Brad Stevens for showing what it means to get a team to overachieve.

There's not many players that have gotten ripped on as much as Jeff Green in the analytics era. Great game for him in so many ways. The post game interviews have been great.

If Cleveland plays Houston and Love is cleared to play, I'm not sure he'll even be able to play more than just spot minutes. They will be targeting him and trying to get him to switch onto James Harden every time down the floor. Who is better equipped to deal with that, Jeff Green or Kevin Love?

Lebrons played in every game this season and played all 48 minutes in last nights game. That team has needed him for every single second of all of that. 15 seasons in the league and he's still the true definition of an MVP. It's really incredible.

Michael Jordan
Barry Sanders
Barry Bonds
Magic Johnson
Lebron James
BoJackson

My short list of players I'll look back on and be thankful I was able to watch play in my lifetime

Lebron won that series with one teammate averaging over 10ppg (Love 12.5 and he basically only played 5 games).

That's a very good short list. I personally would have Larry Bird on mine.
