Sano got back into the lineup today after basically losing his job to Astudillo and hits a huge HR to win the game today. MAYBE this gets him going and the team...maybe.

Meanwhile Jake Cave went on the 60 day DL and we bring up another hot prospect...wait who the heck is Rob Refsnyder?! Well he did have an RBI hit today and went 2-4 so...yay!!! I wonder if they bring in a guy that's more of CF type at some point or they just keep running Kepler out there every day. Like I saw someone comment a healthy Royce Lewis would have been nice to have plugged in somewhere this year.

That pitching is shit. World Series teams have legitimate front line starters. Berrios would be a 2 maybe 3.

Yeah and the offense is middle of the road which is pretty disappointing but some of that is due to injuries. Last night the starting outfield was Arreaz Refsnyder (6-8 as a Twin) and Garlick. A few months ago I didn't know 2 of those guys even existed.

If the Sox sweep them in this series...like My brother said last night it's tile for some football!!! Lol

Well if they keep losing it will hopefully mean cheap tickets to the games later in the year.

Where can you listen to games? I have not found the radio station to listen to when driving or puttering around the garage.

I only watch the extended highlights that are around 7-10 minutes. If you want to listen to the games on the "radio" MLB has a audio package that's pretty cheap.

Meanwhile Sano has started to heat up. 4 HRs in the last 2 Twins wins. If the pitching doesn't come around it won't matter but it would be a cool story for Sano to find his swing. From what I have heard and read he has had a good attitude and working hard. I'm still much more excited about other young power hitters (Larnach has hit since coming up) and I wonder how much longer Sano sticks on the roster the next couple years but I'm certainly not cheering for Sano to fail.

I looked at what was happening down on the farm early on and not a whole lot exciting especially at AAA except Nick Gordon has hit in his handful of games in AAA and is playing SS. I keep cheering for that guy.

Sano with a grand slam today to help split the double header today.

Donaldson has cost the Twins a number of runs and probably some games with his errors and yet he has some really nice defensive plays too.

2 in a row!!!!! The legend of Rob Refsnyder is growing. Dobnak had a nice outing today. Alex K is back in the lineup.

Feels good to win 2 in a row, and yeah, I'm enjoying 30-year-old Kim Jung-Tae. He's never hit in the majors, but he was considered a pretty good prospect coming out of Arizona State.

So many things wrong with this club though, as so many guys are underachieving. We were supposed to have the best defensive left side of the infield in the major leagues, but Donaldson and Simmons lead the team with 9 errors between them despite both missing many games. Shoemaker, Duffey, Happ, Maeda and Colome have all been much worse than their average seasons, and Berrios has been meh. And we have 7 guys with more than 25 ABs hitting less than .205, including guys we expected to be big contributors like Sano, Kepler and Garver. Sano and Kepler have shown signs of figuring things out recently, but neither can be trusted right now.

The season is young though, and our division lacks a true super team, so anything can still happen. But they need to start putting it together soon to have any hope of salvaging this season.
