Yeah, pretty good. I like what he said too about not rushing the process. I kind of agree. We probably should keep some of our powder dry this offseason and not get too carried away with big game hunting. If we let things play themselves out, we could have significant cap room next offseason.

As for the prospects he mentioned, TyTy is the only one I'm not so sure about. Terry and Liddell certainly fit the bill in how he described them. Surprised he didn't mention Eason, but may be he thinks Tari is gone by 19.

Yep. I also agreed with his point about not rushing the process. That was my biggest take-away from his analysis. And it aligns with Tim Connelly's stated philosophy that you can't take short cuts. It's important to keep adding young or youngish talent without giving up high-end talent or future 1st-round draft assets. That's where the draft and free agency come into play. It's important maintain some financial flexibility, which means not overpaying players on long-term deals. Where this team ends up the end of next season matters, but it shouldn't be the focus of our front office this summer. The focus should be where this team ends up the end of the 2023-24 season and even more so the end of the 2024-25 season when Ant and McDaniels will still be under 25 and KAT under 30.

My do not want to draft at 19 list is 1. Blake Wesley 2. Jaden Hardy 3. Caleb Houstan 4. Patrick Baldwin and 5. Walker Kessler and pretty much anyone not projected by the consensus to be a first round pick.

Good list, KG. I saw that the ESPN mock has the Wolves drafting Kessler at 19. If that happens, I'll vomit. CBS Sports has the Wolves taking Wesley at 19. I'm not as down on Hardy as you. He's a terrific talent - the #2-rated player coming out of high school. But I saw the info you shared above and that would be enough for me to pass on him given the other prospects who will likely be available at 19. I am a bit intrigued by Patrick Baldwin. But I'd still pass on him as well. Another guy I'd add to my no-draft list at 19 is Kendall Brown. Great athlete? Yes. But his movements look awkward. He doesn't look like a basketball player to me. He looks like a great athlete playing basketball.
