I don't side with players very often but it does seem they are in a no win situation sometimes. If they take the money they don't care about winning, if they jump ship and go to an Uber talented team their ring chasers. I believe most guys are no different then us common folk in that they chose to do what's best for their families. And those decisions are subject to change from year to year. I've made plenty of decisions I felt were right at the time that I had to do a complete reversal on. While they may be more skilled at basketball they cannot predict the future any more so than we can.

Because he wants to play in LA. And yes they have made an offer

For the life of me I can't understand why any franchise would want to help the Lakers out. The fact they have a max slot available is shameful.
