Jonathan Isaac would be a great pick for us. I sure hope he's available at our spot.

I do too. His toughness and physicality would we welcome additions to the team.

Yeah, he could be the larger SF we need to enable a move of Wiggins to SG. I didn't realize he shot the 3 so well this season (and at a high volume).

Regarding Frank Whatever, I just can't get behind this guy. I agree he may jump in the rankings, but only because he is all potential and no history.

Again my worry with Bridges is his length.

It seems like international guards don't seem to get that love that big guys do. It will be interesting to see if there are guys that change that thinking. I don't know anything about this Frank guy except a few tweets from draft express.

I don't know much about him and couldn't even tell who he was when watching FSU play twice this year because he didn't stand out. What does he do well outside of being tall and long from what I've seen? Or is he a huge upside project that is more hope for what he can become than what he can do?

Per 40 numbers for Isaac:
MP FG FGA FG% 2P 2PA 2P% 3P 3PA 3P% FT FTA FT% TRB AST STL BLK TOV PF PTS
32 839 6.2 12.2 .508 4.7 8.0 .593 1.5 4.2 .348 4.4 5.6 .780 12.0 1.8 1.8 2.3 2.3 3.3 18.3

His ORating is 122.2 and DRating is 93.6. That is a net 28.6, which is extraordinary. Good length, quickness (great cutter) and his stats are quite impressive for a 19 year old. Shooting efficency is excellent, can shoot three points, steals, blocks and a great net rating. I like that he was a guard and developed guard skills and grew into a big body which he is filling out. Skinny but much more filled out than Brandon Ingram. I'm worried he could be off the board before we pick, but Draft Express currently has him available at where we are picking.

I like Isaac too but like what has been said we are likely not going to have a shot at him. I like Bridges a lot better than some of the bigs and honestly he like is a better player than Isaac at the same age. He might not have the extreme length but he is built like a truck which is a plus and is not short by any means.

So Ingram was the number 2 pick in his draft. Why is Isaac behind both Jackson and Tatum in this one? I get being behind Fultz and Ball, but why is he behind 2 of his peers if he can shoot, defend and have guard skills at 6'10? Tatum and Jackson both have shooting struggles and Jackson has a lot of off-court baggage. Why does a guy like Isaac only average 12 points per game and not be a dominant force in college like his comparison player in Durant did? I'm just trying to find the disconnect. I understand it from a potential point of view, I'm just not seeing the actual production that matches that potential. I also don't like per 40 stats in college. They're just bad. These guys won't play 40 in the pros. They don't play 40 in college. Just seems like a stat created to make actual numbers look bigger than they should be and likely would be when playing that many more minutes in actuality.

It seems to me he falls under the Towns debate then. He was misused and underplayed in college so how much can be relied on to translate to the next level in your opinion? 35% from college 3, more turnovers than assists for a guy who deferred to his teammates often and 1.5 blocks per game as a 6'10 athletic big could go either way for me.
