I just really hope he buys into a Timberwolves offense that may not get him the touches he'd like and he knows when to roll hard to the hoop and when to stay out of the way and trail the play versus clogging up the lane.
The funny thing is in this Fiba context Rudy needed more touches. He had 9 pts on 1 shot. He had so many deep post positions on short guys but the France backup PG was ignoring him so much. De Colo getting tossed was a killer for France

Ive been pretty intrigued with KAT playing for DR. It seems like hes playing with some real joy. I hope that translates to his season, rather than getting his usual the world is against me vibe.

Yeah, you do need to get him the ball when he's really deep and has a guy sealed off because he can just turn and dunk most of the time. It's more of the post ups where he is 6+ feet away from the rim with hands waving for the ball that doesn't work out well.

No doubt. Get rid of the melodrama and delusional thinking and just play with joy and humility. We'll see....tough for people to change stripes.

I don’t know why I care at all but the National media destroying Rudy for losing in the group stage. Like “shocking a team lead by Rudy Gobert would flame out”. Rudy fucking has medaled the last 3 tournaments he has played in

As I've said from the beginning, it's not just that media dislikes Rudy's game.

They dislike Rudy, period. It's the same way with Towns. DR could make it to the quarters and lose to America and the press will find a way to use that as an indictment on Towns as a man.

Well, now we don’t have to worry about Rudy getting worn out or hurt in FIBA play

Looks like China is out now too. Kyle "Kaier Li" Anderson had a great game but they fell to South Sudan.

I'm surprised that the sheer size of China couldn't produce a more competitive team than this. Pretty pathetic showing for such a huge country.

If you are tall but can't dribble and shoot 3's the media will probably rip you if you are on a max contract. KAT they rip because he has never lived up to his potential and is seriously delusional. I think it is fair to rip KAT at this point for essentially not improving at all over his career.

Another slow start from the field from Ant, but the U.S. up 13 versus Greece at the half. He's not lived up to the hype generated from the warm-up games so far, but they haven't really needed him to.
