I have no idea what his salary looks like or if we could fit it by just trading a pick, but is that something we should look into?
Crazy game coming up. The D will be tested this week. I would love to see them keep the Saints to 21 points. If they can do that I have a lot of faith in Cousins and crew getting it done on offense against this group. The Saints might have a highly rated rush defense, but they don't get run on a lot because they are ahead. Also they have faced only one top 25 back all year and that back was Barkley with the Giants. He got 4.4 a carry. I think the Saints can be run on if you limit them taking you down in the backfield. If you can do that you have a good shot at some long runs.
I worry Barr and Kendricks are just gonna get toasted by this offense with Kamara. They've been struggling in coverage all year and now they face one of the best offenses at getting their RB involved in the passing game. Rhodes vs. Thomas should be a great matchup on the outside. Keep them under 28 and I'll be happy as Griffen should be back in a few weeks to solidify the pass rush for the closing half of the season.
Peterson makes 14 million and we only have 2 million in cap space so realistically Barr's expiring is the only guy we could trade to get him and I don't see that happening.

Peterson just came out and said he will he in Arizona for a long time so apparently that's it for that.

It's cool that he will be out there even just on the sidelines.
With Barr our I'm interested to see how Eric Wilson does filling in. I've been a fan of his but also...Barr is a guy that they have to figure out what to do with long term. It would be nice to already have a cheaper alternative although Wilson is a different type of player. We will see and I get I'm expecting a lot from wilson beyond filling in.
Great point about Eric Wilson. In the past, it doesn't seem like the team performance drops off a ton when Barr or Kendrick is out. To me, the key will be Rhodes and if he can cover Thomas. Also how will they handle Kamara. I hope they use the safety depth and shadow him with a safety.

Excellent point about Kamara. It will be interesting to see what they do and if Wilson is an improvement in some ways. The Vikings have been better the last couple games though in these areas.
