He's my favorite player in this draft. I wouldn't pick him top 5, but after that there arent many prospects I'd take based on future potential before him.

I didn't see the assist totals. Crazy productive. I have not looked at this draft much since just flamed out on the Wolves and basektball in November after the strong and than return to general crappy play. Along with the Vikings putting it together.

The only thing that he is lacking is steals and blocks, but the shooting, rebounding and assists are so strong. It will be interesting how this plays out. Dunn, Heild, and Valentine all will be 22+ at draft time. If they all got picked in the lottery I wonder when the last time 4 seniors got picked that early?

...He's going to be a late lottery pick. Might even sneak in the top-10 depending on what transpires from now til then.

I could see it. I am not sure I take him over Murray at this point, but this senior class is pretty strong. How are you feeling about JAKOB POELTL?

Anyone else like Kay Felder in the second for us?

Future 3 and D Guy: A guy who I think would be a good second round pick is Patrick McCaw. He is a 20 year old 6"7 SG or SF who has very good assist (4.0) and steal(2.7) numbers (which are stats that typically translate well to the NBA as it shows the guy is engaged on defense and is a willing passer). He is also shooting around 37% from beyond the arc and this year is shooting 45.3% overall.

He's had 5 games where he had 5 or more steals. He had 16 rebounds in last game. He has 14 threes in last four games. He can also score with six games of 20+ points.

Another plus is he is the son of a coach. He had a late growth spurt so he is still skinny, but given that he is still young he should be able to fill out.

Here's a video of him: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3MErvpYjnPU

I haven't seen him play, but noticed he leads the NCAA in assists. He has some decent steal and scoring numbers. The obvious concerns are his 5"9 size and he plays for Oakland so not sure if he's faced much competition. If we want a point guard in the second round and Gary Payton is available, he's the guy. Very few guys that short make it and those that do like Isaiah Thomas was taken with the last pick of the draft, so I would think he's an end of the draft guy or a camp invitee.

Monte Morris is also interesting and is projected to be an early second round pick He's a 6"3 point guard from Iowa State with 7.1 assists and only 1.3 turnovers. He has 2.0 steals this season and is a career 39% shooter beyond the arc.

I always loved the change of pace waterbug types. I am curious how big his wingspan really is. If he has long enough arms his height is not that big of a problem.

While Felder clearly lacks adequate size for an NBA point guard prospect, he helps compensate for that in a number of different ways, as he sports a chiseled frame, possesses a long wingspan, and is a very good athlete to boot. He's capable of playing above the rim, sometimes in impressive fashion, has an impressive ability to operate at different speeds, including a notable extra gear, and makes it very difficult for defenses to stay in front of him due to his herky-jerky style of play, particularly in the open floor.

He seems like a clone of Isaiah Thomas. Would love him as a later first/early second.

Assuming we don't get a top 2 pick, I think I'd go Dunn-Hield as my #1 and #2 options. We desperately need a strong backup PG, thus Dunn makes a ton of sense. Hield could replace Shabazz as our bench scorer, except do it in a way that helps the rest of the offense because he's a floor spacer. I don't see how a guy that prolific won't be able to translate his shot to the next level. The only reason he's not a top 3 pick is because he's a little on the short side for a conventional shooting guard.

I could see Dunn in top 5, but don't see Hield in the top 10. He is having a good year, but scouts see him as a Marcus Thorton type player.
