It's both sad and funny that it takes garbage time for Ryan to stumble upon a lineup combination that actually has conventional NBA size at each position: Reid, Vanderbilt, McDaniels, Edwards, McLaughlin.

Yes, it's top 3 protected. Unfortunately, the odds of ending up in top three are remote even after a full press tank. :)

The idea that Glen thought we could be innovators is what is funniest about this whole thing.
But we're not being innovative, we are following the Rockets blueprint without Harden. The copy is never as good as the original. I wish we were being innovative

I was ok with the offseason until the Rubio trade. It really made me think that either:
1. Rosas had no idea what our roster needs are
2. Rosas was taking a huge risk in a completely unconventional approach to roster building
3. Rosas was caving to some sort of sentimentality on the business side of the operations
Any of these options is bad. It makes zero sense. Rubio is a fine role player and can contribute to a winning team in the right role, it is not on this team with our roster.

Lol. I'm laughing and crying at the same time. Mostly, I'm just amazed at the level of this organization's competence from Rosas to Rya

Yes, I believe we only have a 40% chance of keeping the pick if we end up anywhere in the bottom 3. We absolutely should assume we aren't getting it.

We're never going to be innovative, thats the point. Those ideas start from the top and include hard decisions to make. We all know Glen will take too long to sign off on a coaching change. We cant get ahead of anything with him as an owner.

Thank you all for suffering with me!

Rosas wasn't caving to sentiment. He tried to sign Ricky last summer and, as he said, has had his eye on him ever since. He fell in love with Juancho and paid him $7M per year for two years. He left the roster lopsidedly small. So for me, it goes way beyond signing Ricky. But I didn't like that move either. I think it's simple. Rosas just isn't very smart.

So you're adding tunnel vision as a 4th option.
That may be worse than the other 3.
