Hill is playing a lot of minutes, and I think he missed a game or 2. Wilson will get chances throughout the year as they cover for injuries or rest guys. He doesn't seem happy with his role though and it's hard to blame him. Brown has been inured for the last couple.

Lakers doing better than I thought.....and that really sucks.
They play a massive frontline by today's standards - McGee, AD, and LeBron, along with Danny Green and KCP in the back court - and it's working. #1 defense in the NBA and #5 offense.

None of what you said is false here, but I will say that only five of their games thus far have come against teams with a better than .500 record. December should be a better test to them and their depth or lack thereof.

Rockets up 55 over the Hawks late third-quarter and James Harden is still in the game.

Harden ended up with 60 points, including 23 free throws. That is ridiculous. You can't tell me he's getting fouled that much without being the guy initiating contact in some unnatural motion on a good portion of those. Lame.

Can you imagine if he got injured. D'antoni never seems to take that into account.
I watched the refs steal a game from Indy tonight against Philly. The superstar calls somehow never make it around to KAT and the wolves though.

Is Harden the best offensive player since Wilt? Regular season only of course.

We are going to see it first hand against the mavs. Wiggs and kat are going to get pummeled without a whistle, yet doncic will get fts whenever hes within spitting distance of a wolf.
Crazy stat, doncic averages 7 uncontested rebounds a game. The mavs players must be instructed to leave those freebees alone.

The guy is a freaking savant. He is annoying but the guy is damn good offensively and his defense doesn't suck anymore either.

It's an interesting stat.
Doncic is listed at 6'7". Dude looks way bigger than that and iMO so does KBD. Dallas is a top 5 rebounding team so whatever they are doing seems to be working. Meanwhile their PG is the size of a PF why grab the rebound when you can let your guy just get it and do what he does? There might be a bit of stat padding but it also makes some strategic sense if you want to push the pace or just not have to throw a 5' pass or whatever. Some guys probably run the floor because they know their Pg is gonna get the ball and then zip a pass up to them. It's also worth considering that maybe there is some skill or effort in collecting an uncontested rebound at times too. you go to the right spot etc. It would be interesting to see some sort of visual representation of where players collect their rebounds kinda like a shot charts. For example is Doncic getting a bunch of rebounds that are outside the paint compared to other players that average 9+ rebounds a game?
