Doesn't it make sense for Lebron to only tell the team he is going to, so they have a chance to line up other deals while the rest of the NBA is in limbo. Right now Cleveland is likely dealing with Minny, whereas tomorrow there might be 4 other teams trying to grab Love. Sounds like Flip is taking his time though.

Cleveland's first summer league game is less than 2 days away. Does Wiggins have to be signed to play with the Summer League? Might accelerate things a little here. So many moving pieces!

With parsons and hayward both getting max deal, Cleveland and wiggins is the only team and player I want to trade love to. We will be giving klay a max deal if we trade with golden state and I dont want a max deal for him.

Go get wiggins flip, I dont care about tristan or waiters. They can send us bennett, gee or anyone else. Wiggins is the price and he will reenergize the fanbase and the promise of him and lavine as running mates of rubio will be exciting and a good sell to the fans.

I will be perfectly fine to roll with a wiggins/dieng/pek/rubio/martin starting 5 next season.
Play pek and dieng together and see what happens.

Il add that the cavs just traded away a bunch of assets along with jack. They gave away a future 1st, zeller and karasev. They look like they knopw they will get bron for them to give away all those assets for cap space.

Excellent post world. I'm with you on this.

I agree with much of your take, world, but I think we need to see Tristan coming back...I'm not comfortable rolling with Dieng and whatever at PF next year.

Also, we don't run into any max salary issues for a long time with a Chicago deal, and there's a lot of potential upside with Mirotic and McDermott. I'm still intrigued with a Bulls deal if we could also get Gibson and Butler out of them...probably not too likely though.

I dont know lst. Il take wiggins over mirotic+mcbuckets any day. They all have flaws that critics will point out but wiggins has been rank this high for a long time for a reason. Butler and gibson are role players, very good ones but role players nonetheless.

I am a believer that you get the best player and most likely to be a star in any deal over a bunch of solid role players. Wiggins has the most potential to be a star in all players mentioned. Even more so that parson, klay thompson, tristan thompson or hayward.

Like i said, if we can get trsitan, then good. But he is not a deal breaker for me. Go get wiggins flip!

Anybody think there's an outside chance LaVine starts with Wiggins if Love is traded? Flip seems to love him and we'd be in rebuild mode.

Give me the two Canadians Bennett and Wiggins, and call it a day.

I'll take the other Canadian if I have a choice (Thompson). Really, really good team defender and double-double guy. Would settle for Bennett if it was a deal-breaker for Cleveland, but I'd need a 1st rounder coming my way.

Lavine didn't start in college. Doubtful they would throw him out there in that role next year.
