That's a lot man for a backup PG. I just don't know if I'm excited to pay non needle movers that type of money
The difference is that Seth Curry does something legit that's elite... shoot three pointers. He's a career 44% three point shooter in a league obsessed with taking more three pointers.
Granted, Jones is elite at protecting the ball... his Assist/TO rate is great. But is that one specific skill as impactful or in demand as much?
Ya I didn't word it well. I wouldn't want to pay tyus that. I think curry has the one skill that deserves getting paid that

Also, happy Bobby Bonilla day! He's gonna keep getting paid over a million annually until 2035!

DLO would have added scoring and hope that maybe adding another young all-star can start changing things but would it? Does adding DLO change the win total all that much? I'm not sold on him changing things a ton and what this team needs more than anything is to not make salary cap blunders and maximize developing the young talent on this team. Then when we do have some money down the road we can look like a somewhat attractive FA destination.
Well as of now, including Reid's two way deal he has 10 guys signed. That means he needs to find 7 more guys to join this team.
He has his work cut out for him.
I'm sure they could sign Lip to a 10 day contract. I've heard his crossovers are impressive.
When Lip talks about his crossovers he's actually referring to lacing his sneakers.

I watched a few highlights of Napier and I hope we keep him. He has the actual skillset to be a shot creator off the bench. He can get his shot off quickly has a good handle and step backs and footwork to get looks. He fired up 3's and doesn't just have to be spotted up to take them. His FG% is under 40% but that's partly because he took so any 3's and only hit 33%. He turns 28 in a couple days so he ain't young but he isn't old either. Wolfson said he has heard the Wolves are planning to keep Graham past his guarantee date but Napier could be moved in a deal.

Tolliver to the Blazers for the vet min. Portland has an opportunity there after moving a couple players and Aminu signing elsewhere which is why I'm guessing Tolliver took just the vet min to go there.

Nice move by the Blazers, he should excel in there system MN just didn't seem to get the most out of him. He had his moments for us but I think he might fit in and find a really nice role in Portland.

Meh. There are reasons he's been traded multiple times and signed his last contract for about $1.9M per year.
He's basically another version of Jerryd Bayless.

Agreed, nothing special there. There is a reason they are called highlights. They sure as heck don't show the 67% of 3's he missed!
