Another point worth making is this. I think Derrick's performance thus far with the Kings indicates that Adelman knew what he was doing not playing him much. I suspect that Adelman is similarly underwhelmed by Shabazz and Dieng in practice. In fact, watching Dieng play since Pek went down I've been struck by how utterly clueless Dieng looks on the court. He looks like a guy who hasn't played much basketball. Of course, he hasn't played a lot of basketball having started playing the game late in life.

I'm ready to move on with a new head coach. But the fundamental problem with this team is a lack if talent and a poor mix of talent. Flip himself said we have too many one-way players. Of course, it was Flip who loaded up the roster with one-way players - Brewer, Martin, Budinger and Luc.
