I don't think any other team could do that to Denver.

How much have the refs been an influence on these games? The crew tonite called the game like a defensive team like the Wolves wants. The previous 2 games were reffed tight and that favored the Nuggets. Which crew will we get for game 7?

I think you're right. This could easily have been our coronation tonight. But we have to do it the hard way.

That was the 2nd largest win in NBA history in an elimination game.

Q-is-here wrote: Thu May 16, 2024 9:52 pm Man, Denver is really playing with fire here. They looked unbeatable after those three straight wins where Jokic was in total control. I know they will be favored to win Game 7, but they are skating on thin ice.
It's so weird. You think these teams are evenly matched, but it's basically been a blowout most games. It's not like the teams that lose are blowing close leads through laziness down the stretch or anything. I'm hard pressed to think of another series that had so many blowouts going both ways through the first 6 games.
Yeah, strange series. Both teams have been great frontrunners, meaning once a solid lead is established in the first half, the other team just can't claw their way back in it.

Greatest timeout in Wolves history....down 9-2 to start the game poorly, take a T.O. and then go on a 20-0 run. Game over.

We don't want the game 5 officiating crew on Sunday. Their record shows they play to the home team.
