I think Chance Warmack would be worth checking out as depth or competition for starter. Maybe an Andre Smith type deal.

Great podscast on Vikings OL

They gave hope to Clemmings at RT. Physical profile is perfect to OL.
Agreed they should have tried moving Boone to LT.
Like LT Riley Reiff would be a solid pick up. Remmers would be a solid RT and might be a good value.
Solid would be a huge upgrade for this team.
I listened to this podcast last week and...while I respect the guy they had on he wasn't particularly impressive with his knowledge. It seemed like so many guys they were talking about he was like "I only saw 40 snaps of that guy" I'm not saying the guy doesn't know what he is talking about especially when it comes to guys he actually really studies up on but I thought it could have been more productive. I thought the guy was balanced though in that he didn't take his thoughts and absolute fact or anything and I think he would want people to take his grades and thoughts as a jumping off point like he mentioned with Pro football Focus. The take away was that there are some solid guys you can add to your line and help even if they aren't spectacular...especially when you consider the disaster that was the Vikings oline. He also really made a pretty significant distinction about how effective guys were at RT compared to LT.

Panthers looking at Kalil to pair with his brother.

Did anyone else see that Wolfson said Berger is contemplating whether he wants to play other season? Man that would be tough since he is the best olineman on the roster right now.
Kerin will sign his tender and will be back.

That would be a huge blow. It might be his agent pushing to get him some more money via extension.

My guess is the concussion he had last year is a legit factor in what he is mulling over. I think the amount of money he is making...isn't really making the decision easy for him. He hasn't made a ton of money in his career but that salary he is making...yeah so I think you could be onto something in a way.

I forgot about the concussion. He would be a big loss for this team.
I said it before, but it would be great to go into this year with him as a backup at for both OG's and OC.
The talk on KFAN this am was that they think Kalil is likely to go to the Panthers. Saw we are interested in Fluker as RG. Interesting player that should come cheap. Not rated highly at all though, but still young.

I was thinking in a good scenario for the Vikings they would have upgraded enough Sirles is able to be a super sub backing up 3 spots on the line instead of being a starter. We will see. I just listened to a podcast today with souhan and Tim Yotter (not sure how legit Yotter is at this point) and Yotter though the LT market is gonna be crazy and Kalil might even get 10 million because the draft doesn't have much and teams need LTs and teams have cap space. It was a bit of a surprising and interesting take.

10M - Ouch. I do think teams will be going nuts over LT's. That is a huge need around the league. The good thing is that pretty much anyone is an upgrade for us. It would have been nice to see how
Boone would have done at LT. His contract would be cheap there. Also we had that kid play the last game and he did well from Jacksonville. If we had an OL coach that we could trust to turn trash into cash we wouldn't be in this mess.

They talked about how Zimmer is getting more involved in the offense too which is interesting.
Hill is the guy from Jacksonville. I think he is a guy that I would feel decent about having as the backup LT. I feel like 300x better about him there than anyone else the Vikings had behind Kalil when the season started.
I'm not a fan of AP's dad because he seems to like to shoot his mouth off about whatever and you may have seen he took shots at the Vikings trying to take trash to treasure when comparing them to the Raiders. To some extent he isn't wrong. On the other hand I'd like to see what kind of assets the Pats used to build their line that AP would be willing to play less for (only way the Pats would sign him) and supposedly intrigues him but of course that's with Tom Brady...but still.
