Odorizzi had a lot of base runners in this game but ultimately got the job done with a scoreless outing. It would be nice if Marwin got hot to finish the season. Adriannza just keeps hitting. Let's see what they can do today. If they can split this series they would be in solid shape.

Time for Berrios to prove that he's indeed a Number 1 or 2 on a playoff team. No reason to lose this game tonight. Big deal if they can get through this week with only losing one game in the standings.

Cleveland next 10 games Boston Yankees and Mets with stroman and DeGrom throwing.

Tough lose yesterday!

Berrios didn't get done. We came back but leaned on Taylor Rogers to much.

Fun fact listening to Gleeman and the Geek. They were talk about the perception Adrianza being fast when in fact by every speed metric his he's slower than Crohn. Also Jake Cave was on the bench and they did the math if he was running at same pace he would've only been throw-in out by 1 foot.

I swear I heard on KFAN yesterday that Berrios is down 2-3mph on his fastball from the start of the year. How much does the grind of the season wear on pitchers? How much rest would work to make an impact typically?

Getting healthy?

Dyson is back. Cruz will be back Monday. No word on Buxton. It sounds like he is still trending toward a late-August or early-September return.

On Twitter Wolfson had video of his chat in the locker room with Buxton. After watching that I didn't get eh sense Buxton was coming back anytime soon. If Dyson is healthy and pitches well that will be a pretty big boast. A pain free Cruz soon seems like a good thing.

Forgot about Michael Pineda too.

Good win yesterday. Perez was solid and Dyson and Romos closed the door at the end of the game.
