If Wiggins is traded then who do you see the Wolves bringing in as a free agent or via trade to as our new starting wing?
I'd imagine the Wolves meet with J.J. Reddick, but it makes sense for him to return to Philadelphia. With how much focus Rosas places on three-point shooting, I'd imagine he'd want a proven shooter starting at the 2. Neither Okogie or Culver are that right now.
Names will continue to be floated around, but I think Jeremy Lamb with a large portion of the MLE would make a ton of sense. He's a three-level scorer with length and is a very underrated defender. Very good shooter off the catch. He's also trending upward as he had plenty of career highs last year.
If it were up to me, I'd like to see Russell-Lamb-Covington as our 1-3 with a defensive-minded, gritty big next to Towns in the starting lineup. Obviously, Taj Gibson would be who I wanted to fit this billet.

I hope rosas doesnt go nuts bidding against himself.
Its basically us and the suns, and maybe knicks.
Don't forget the Lakers. I think they're our more formidable competition for Russell assuming they don't sign Kawhi or Butler. And I still don't think they'll sign either one of those two. I Russell wants to maximize his chances of winning, then the Lakers are the obvious choice. The Suns and Wolves are on Russell's short list because both teams have one of his best friends on their rosters. The Suns have the added appeal of great winter weather in contrast to Minnesota having one of the worst. But the Wolves are, I think, closer to becoming a contender. I don't see Russell signing with the Knicks.
I excluded the lakers because i don't think they envision using a max slot on dlo. I think they want someone more established. I think they will split that capspace for depth if they can't get in on of the bigger free agents.
I just don't think there is a market for dlo for whatever season.
Id rather not part with culver or cov for the hope of enticing dlo.

According to doogie, dlo is plan a and rubio was plan b. But, they were lead to believe that rubio had other plans.
So basically we are going all in on pg hunting this off season.

Zero chance they part with Culver to get DLo.

I can't see Rosas pursuing Rubio, so, I'll chalk this up to Wolfson being Wolfson.

Suns beat writer is reporting that the suns are out on dlo.
Maybe teams are scared off because dlo to the wolves is all but done.

They're pursuing Rozier from the reports I saw.

He could have a meeting with the Lakers early in the week, but my gut feeling is that he doesn't leave Minnesota on Sunday without agreeing to terms.
