Certainly fits the modern game better than Sorber, not that Sorber can't be really good in his own way.Lipoli390 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 25, 2025 9:13 pm Beringer. What I love about him:
1. Has terrific length with a 9’3 standing reach and 7’4.5 wingspan.
2. Still only 18 years old and has played basketball for only 4 years - translation: huge upside
3. Very good athlete
4. Watches NBA basketball every morning - obviously loves and is devoted to the NBA game.
5. Seems to play with a lot of competitive fire and energy.
6. Can be mentored by the best French big man in the NBA
This was a very good pick. He didn’t compile impressive stats and the fact he’s only played basketball 4 years could be viewed as as a negative rather than a positive. But this is where I trust TC. He has a terrific acumen for identifying young talent. In this instance I think it’s obvious TC had his eye on Beringer all along, which is why he didn’t trade up for Sorber and waited until #17 without trading down. So this is a pick we should be excited about.
Yes, they said Flynn instead of Curry.BeenLurkin wrote: ↑Wed Jun 25, 2025 9:15 pm Anyone remember the last wolves draft pick that the commissioner mispronounced their name when announcing them? Bad omen?
I wonder if Sorber's foot injury scared us off...not a good thing for a big.Q-is-here wrote: ↑Wed Jun 25, 2025 9:17 pmCertainly fits the modern game better than Sorber, not that Sorber can't be really good in his own way.Lipoli390 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 25, 2025 9:13 pm Beringer. What I love about him:

And if he's only 18, imagine how tall he'll be after two Wolves off-seasons!
