We often discuss the impact of age. I found it interesting the age spread between some of the "freshman". Skal and Richardson are already 20. Makes me wonder if they are not very bright, or if they were held back earlier in their childhood so they could physically dominate their competition throughout their HS ranks. We have a kid in my sons Little Leage that hit 30+ HR this season.....but he turned 13 early in the season. Most of the kids he is playing with/against are 11 or early 12. Every year matters at these younger ages. Interesting.

I'd be disappointed if we passed on Bender. With his shooting ability and defensive upside I think he would created a very nice front court for us with Towns.

I think this is gonna be a theme of this draft for picks in this range. Money talks.

Sources: Charlotte's offering No. 22 - if team will take contract of Spencer Hawes or Jeremy Lamb. Hornets need space to re-sign free agents

Just throwing it out there Adrian Payne and Rudez (salaries) for Lamb and 22? I would be interested in that.

I think they are looking for someone with a cap exception to take back one of those players...

Duh how could I forget our cap exception! That works for me too for Lamb. It seems like he showed more game last year and he just turned 24. Seem he COULD be like one of those young guys that teams got for nothing or even paid to take like the Blazers and Celtics have done recently that turn out to steals.

DX has Ellenson dropping all the way down to the 20 range. I know he may have flaws defensively but that's an incredible value if he does drop that far.

Simmons is going No. 1. He's been promised that from my understanding.
