I just finished the game, was a bit behind, did anyone see Kat's post game interview with Marnie?!?

I did and I wasn't thrilled with his response. I'm choosing to overlook it, but I wish he would have just owned up to his past mistakes and left it at that.

Can you share what he said?

Marnie mentioned that Jim Pete was impressed by what seemed like KAT's Zhen state during the game and she asked him how he was able to keep him emotions in check. His response was defiant. He said he plays with passion and he'll always play with passion and if fans don't accept that then that's their problem - or something pretty close to that. I'm a KAT fan, but I thought this response was pathetic. I agree with Cam that he should have just owned it. But right after his defensive/defiant response, he talked about the need to set an example for his teammates and play the right way or something to that effect. So he kind of admitted that he changed his approach and needed to do so as a team leader.

But I honestly don't care what he says as long as he plays the way he played tonight. He's clearly our best player and we'd be 1-3 instead of 3-1 without him.

I had a feeling watching the game that Kat's stoicism was kind of giving the middle finger to people and him pouting verses actually taking some ownership of his behavior. Video proves I was right. My gosh, he is so clueless, victim mentality.

Thanks for posting, Duke. Ant is hilarious:

Anthony Edwards on playing against Giannis Antetokounmpo:

"With a guy like that, you can't stress about him scoring. That's what he's gonna do. Motherfucker's 7'2", 280 pounds. Ain't nothing you can do. We could put four people on him and he's still gonna score the ball."

Exactly. That was his motive. It had nothing to do with any actual self-reflection or maturation.

Whatevs.....we're 3-1 and he's playing great. But he is one hell of a drama queen.

He did play a very good game, but there's a direct correlation to the change in his game tonight and the post game interview given by Ant.
He and Ant are going to have a clash I can guarantee you, great talent but I'm just shock at the cluelessness he has.

I'm just a bit annoyed that KAT has bitched about non calls, it's basically common place in the NBA and some guys are even worse. Though the refs won't respect you when you do it all game every game. Pick and choose your spots and they might listen. Do it all the time and the refs will just ignore you and even worse purposely not make calls.

And let's be real, what he was doing before wasn't working either. I could see if his complaints made a difference, but they are not. Get back on D and talk to the ref at a timeout. Then if maybe once in a while you really get hacked make a scene and you just might get a whistle.

It takes a village... wait, wrong thing... but it kinda works here. Yep, tonight was all about Khris Middleton to me. Giannis Antetokounmpo is going to be great damn near every night. He's proven it time and time again. There's no answer for him. But you take away or lessen the effectiveness of those around Giannis and it gives you a chance. I thought Minnesota did a great job of that tonight.
