It looks to more money and for longer than Jester suggested. Jester you may want to wait to chime in till we have the full contract details since it seems like some of these contract numbers have gotten inflated by incentives etc.

Damn contract details came out today. 4 years 55 mil with a player option for 10 mil and 5 mil buyout. I don't know who his agent is but that's a sweet deal. Definitely for a guy who's only had on season were hes. played 140 games and is turning 30.

His representation is Excel Sports Management Which was started by Jeff Schwartz. I just looked up how his deal compared to some of the other ones signed so far in FA. It's the 4 most total money. He can opt out after 3 years 45 million if he stays healthy and plays enough and is playing well enough to get more money. Why did he get that contract compared to some other guys of a similar age? I'm genuinely asking because I don't know the league that well.

He plays above average centerfield. He hits .290-.315. Averages 20 home runs and 100 rbis when healthy and will swipe 20 bags. He's just a bonafide 5 tool player when he's healthy.
