I thought this was one of the best, most balanced, reviews of Rudy Gobert as a player.

While Minot and Knight are possibilities, I believe the "all-in" nature of the Gobert acquisition demands more "known quantities" to fill those last 2 spots -- probably a guard and a forward.

I imagine we need to wait until most of the bigger FA money is spent by other teams to see who is left standing without a contract... :)

FWIW I listened to part of Wolfson's latest podcast (guests include Bobby Marks Anthony Tolliver, Moore, Minott and Kessler) and he said someone with the Wolves said they may wait to add a vet free agent till after the Durant and Kyrie situation unfolds because some better players may shake loose because they get waived etc which makes sense regardless of whether Wolfson has an actual source or not. He also suggested they were looking for a center. I guess that makes some sense but that info about them wanting a C I'm more skeptical about.

I heard him toss out Kaminsky's name recently. I am not sure how his injury rehab is going, but that would be a pretty decent big sitting on the bench if ever needed.

But it totally makes sense to wait until all the BIG moves are done to see what possibilities are left remaining.

Wolves have interest in signing Boogie Cousins per wolfson. I would love Cousins.

I like DeMarcus Cousins. Minnesota should have drafted him over a decade ago. It's only right that he winds up on this roster at some point.

Demarcus has never won, and he tends to wear out his welcome very quickly. Can't say I'm very excited to see him come on board. Early in his career, I confidently declared he would never win an NBA championship because of his attitude and influence. So far I've been right.

Some would argue that injuries have almost completely robbed him of his career, but there have been concerns about his attitude too, sure.

I think we were still on the ESPN board at the time, but I remember starting and hyping a thread in that draft year with the title "I WANT COUSINS." I was so pumped about the possibility of getting him, and I still remember salivating over some of his workout videos showing his shooting range. Of course Kahn picked Wes Johnson over him.

But I have to say, Cousins' attitude issues just totally turned me off. Even when he was good, he ruined locker rooms.

Now that Cousins is a shell of himself, I don't want that attitude anywhere near this team. KAT's already pretty damn whiny, and I don't want any of that attitude to rub off on Ant or the other young guys we've now got that we have to think are going to be key to our future.

Besides, we already have 3 guys who can play the 5 right now with Gobert, KAT, and Naz. What's the point of adding another center? SloMo can hold down the 4 when KAT's not playing there, and in a pinch, so could Prince or Jaden. If anything, we most need a point-of-attack on-the-ball defender and another versatile forward. Cousins isn't either of those. This Cousins thing doesn't make a lot of sense to me even if you don't account for his attitude.

The thing about Cousins is he'd be great if he just stuck to being a big man rebounding, defending, screen & roll big man. Instead, he tries to do too much and turns the ball over a ton and takes bad shots. And that's before we get into his overall on court demeanor and attitude. No thank you!
