Free Agent Signing Tracker
Re: Free Agent Signing Tracker
I knew Portis was never a possibility. I sort of knew Hartenstein was unlikely to come here given his love for LA. He wanted big city lights and now he'll have them in New York. My guy Jalen Smith is still available. The Wolves need to move fast and decisively to get him. Hartenstein's 2-year $16 million deal is about right for Smith. At $8 million per year, I'd offer him a 3rd year if that's what it took. Or if he wants one year to prove himself, I'd give him the full $10.3 million for one year.

So far the only guy I liked as a possible free agent addition to the Wolves who is off the board is Hartenstein. Jalen Smith and Mo Bamba are still there for the taking. :)

That's fine. Wolves should offer Naz, Minott or a future second and get Kennedy Chandler who was drafted as Tyus Jones insurance.
If Minnesota wanted Kennedy Chandler they would have simply drafted him. They had multiple chances to do so. It would appear they aren't interested.
