Pek says he's feeling good. Still a little sore but nothing he can't play through. Leaving it up to Flip now

Rubio participated in contact drills for the first time today. Getting closer but looks like Martin and Pek as soon as tomorrow. RR not yet

I'm happy for players like Wiggins and Thad that our starting group is coming back but I can't help but feel a little nervous, I mean, I really really want Okafor

Doesn't matter, we are going to win the lottery.

I don't know, the Knicks, Lakers, Celtics, and Sixers are just going to get worse while Minnesota is going to get at least marginally better

Trust me on this one, it doesn't matter where we finish.

The NBA would be wise to throw us a bone. Would be a great story, and one that could attract more fans to the game (wassup Canada). Minnesota, decade of losing, trading two star players, now the hottest young team in basketball!

And yes, I believe the lottery is a bunch of bullshit. The Knicks winning the lottery to get Ewing. Spurs and Duncan. Bulls winning the lottery from the projected 9 spot and getting Rose. Cavs winning it three times in four years (Irving, Bennett, Wiggins) as they knew LeBron would return home if the situation was attractive. We've never improved our draft position in the lottery. We have exciting pieces though and a well-known name in Wiggins (ROY too).

I wouldn't be surprised if "somehow" we "magically" won the top pick.

Just so you know. As part of the trading of Love we were going to be given the first pick this year. It is a done deal.

Yeah so many reasons for our number to come up:

1) If anybody has ever been due for anything, we are it.
2) The league needs their youngest superstar to make the playoffs and thus need to get him help
3) The luck that Cleveland had transferred to us with the trade. Duh
4) New Commissioner, time for our luck to change.

5) We're good people. We deserve some happiness.

I think you're kidding yourself if you think being 3 or 6 is going to make a difference in us winning it or not. The ping pong balls have shown in recent years it really doesn't matter how many you have as the worst team with the most ping pong balls never wins it. You just have to be top 9 and you have a decent chance at winning it.
