Time to cross our fingers...
Re: Time to cross our fingers...
This forum had a deal set up to buy the team a few years ago but somehow it fell apart. LST isn't here so I'm gonna blame him. Looks like we got another shot!!!

Fun question. If you could have any former Wolves player be the owner of the team in terms of smart businessman person that likely knows enough about basketball to help make the right decisions who would you pick? Think outside of the Billips KG Types.
One guy that comes to mind is Anthony Tolliver.

Mark Madsen! Who better to run the team in this three point era?

Robbie Hummel. NBA career cut short. International experience. Color commentary keeps him near the game today. Management degree at Purdue. One of those "coach's favorites" types as a player usually indicating knowledge of the game. If broadcasting gets boring for him or isn't enough, he should definitely see if he can get his foot in the door of basketball operations.

That's a tough question, we have always seemed to lack those cerebral players. Maybe Sam Cassell, Googs, Ridinour, maybe Joe Smith since he was able to out smart a GM and Owner into signing an illegal contract. Haha.

It will be interesting to see where Hummel's career takes him. I'm gonna guess he will stick with broadcasting for a while till he is done playing FIBA 3 on 3. I'm biased but I think he is very good in broadcasting and could end up having a long career there which could be pretty lucrative.

What Johnny Athletic said yesterday is KG wants to be apart of basketball decisions. I don't want that from my owner
