If you squint real hard you'll be able to see the difference between tanking and regular ole TWolves basketball.

I think it's more developing the young players than it is tanking for a better draft pick. Higher draft pick is a secondary benefit, especially with the weaker draft next year. It seems like they've shifted pretty decisively to development mode, and that's all I really want to see. Covington doesn't seem like a leader to me, he seems like more of a follower. For that reason, he definitely doesn't need to be here and has much more value to a playoff team as their 4th or 5th option. Love seeing Reid and Martin out there tonight.

I'm not sure that is their plan yet. These guys are only playing because of all of the injuries. We'll see what happens when the guys come back

Bleh. You call it development. I call it losing. This notion that the only way a young player can develop is by playing a bunch of NBA minutes while constantly losing seems like a narrow view of things. Many, many, many players have been successfully developed without having to be force-fed lots of minutes. And especially with a stronger G-League, it's very possible to try to win with your vets and develop guys at the same time.

Lol cmon now, I had a pretty good day for a Monday and I'm just in an optimistic mood:)

I honestly go back and forth on some of this. There's no easy answers for rosas or any one of us. I enjoy reading everyone's takes on here. We all want the same thing and we're all frustrated lol.

I want to see some hope in these young guys because frankly I've given up hope on other guys. I don't need much to keep me tuning in but I'm not even getting that.

I hear you. I'm just saying you can have that hope by watching the Iowa Wolves. Most of their games are streamed and these guys play a similar style as the big league team. The competition there is as good as ever since teams are now more willing to send prospects down there versus languishing on their big league bench. Reid and Martin have been cutting their teeth there most of the season and it showed a bit tonight in that neither looked too out of place.

Good to hear. I'm just in the 1st quarter, so now I'll have to keep watching:)
