I haven't noticed Ricky Rubio in this game, which is both good and bad. He hasn't really done anything the entire first half.
Wolves fan commiserate here!

He's an elite shot taker and a terrible shot maker. I'm not sure I've ever seen such a disparity.
Its the one thing he does at an elite level. Imagine if they actually went in?
He does have a great smile, though. And the media loves his personality.

I'm OK with giving Ant a pass on this year as far as his defense and shooting percentages, but he must take a large step forward next season if not continue to show improvement this as well. He is a very young rook who had basically no offseason or preseason to acclimate to the NBA.
Flash is OK, but we need substance.

Good to see Finch not afraid to sub him in for Edwards after he was just chucking up one brick after another. Nowell certainly plays with a lot more discretion, albeit without the occasional "wow" factor you get from Anthony.
Tonight is a great example of the bifurcated roster. No Beasley and no DLO = worse offense, better defense. Add Beasley and DLO = better offense, worse defense. No one can play on both ends on this team.

...but doesn't this apply to every other rookie getting regular minutes? He is so ridiculously inaccurate that it doesn't seem resolved by an offseason of practice. Hope I'm wrong, as his FT % seems to portend better things to come with his outside shot, but that never seems to translate for Timberwolves draft picks at least.
