It was Malik Beasley for Josh Richardson and Aaron Nesmith (or Romeo Langford), supposedly. That's the one I would have jumped on.
Minnesota had interest in Marcus Smart, but talks didn't really get anywhere. Thank goodness.
Ah right. Would have taken that deal.
Not everyone is high on Smart I suppose. He sure is punking us tonight.

Dlo needs to start playing better. I know Ant has not been good but he is a 2nd year player.
This last month has really made me think the Wolves should be looking at a DLO trade this offseason if he won't take a pay cut.
He just no shows way to much on scoring the ball to feel like paying him the money he is making

I dont think there is any other way to look at it. Either he takes 25 max or he's gone. He has been underwhelming relative to what we pay him.

So the question is, rest everyone or rest everyone?

You're not wrong in that he's been struggling of late, but this is a knee jerk reaction. Pretty much ignoring the fact that Minnesota isn't in the position they're in without him.
And if you plan to let him go or trade him, you better have someone equal or better to replace him with. Good luck.

Absolutely not. They need to claw back into this game.

I have liked Dlo play this year no doubt, he has been good but for what the Wolves are paying him and what they will more likely have to pay him going forward I think it is a legit question on what to do for him. Now if Dlo wants a 5 year 100 Million dollar contract sign me up. But if he want to be paid similar to what he is getting now or more, I have my serious doubts on Dlo consistency and injury concerns.
Just worried long term with Dlo consistency to make the Wolves a legit contender or multiple round winner.

We can argue the validity of this trade conversation, and I vehemently disagree with the idea, but here's one question and if you can't answer it then we're done here.
Who are you replacing D'Angelo Russell with at point guard that is objectively better? And are they even available? If you can't answer that, then this is nothing.

Never mind. We suck again. Just not our day apparently.
