Ryan is doing just fine. Wolves have little depth and missing Teague and Napier hurt. I like what I saw of Culver, Covington and Wiggins tonight.
Wolves fan commiserate here!

If that's true, which I don't think it is, that doesn't mean good things for Saunders in Minnesota.
PS: Doc Rivers didn't win a ring with the Celtics until his fourth year in Boston so I think Jim Pete was lost in the sauce when he said that. What would make his theory true, though, is that championship teams tend to have one head coach that develops the core and takes the beatings before being replaced by another coach that inherits a built-to-win contender. In that mold, I can think of many times that's happened in NBA history.

What is interesting too is that you either get it done or are fired. So can Ryan win within the next 3 years? It seems unlikely, but who knows. Maybe we luck out on a draft pick or two and or trade for another superstar somehow.

Kind of a weird thing for Jim Peterson to bring up. Is he thinking this team is really going places or...Ryan isn't going to be the guy? It also seems a bit arbitrary along with some truth about a guy getting it done sooner rather than later but...again kinda weird to bring it up a handful of games into this new regime In which he had a hand in helping select Rosas.
