Re: Kat is back vs the Pacers GDT
What happened to our defense? Oh right Towns is back. Totally not a coincidence.
Re: Kat is back vs the Pacers GDT
That last possession is why there's should be no "point Wiggins"
Re: Kat is back vs the Pacers GDT
Wolves give up 30+ for the third consecutive quarter. 99 pts through 3
Re: Kat is back vs the Pacers GDT
The refusal to play 2 bigs together is so maddening. Getting killed on the glass again. Also Gorgui has been one of the Wolves best players the last month and a half and he has a chance to play under 20 minutes tonight.
Vonleh has been great on the defensive end all season and will play 0 minutes tonight. Gorgui and Cov have a duo defensive rating of 101.0 what is in the 97th percentile. They played a short 3 minute stint together tonight.
*cov and gorgui are on the court together now

That Cov and Dieng duo enter the game and get 4 straight stops. Gorgui hits a 3 in that stretch.
Benz just said that he asked Flip before the game about playing Kat and Gorgui playing together in limited minutes and he said never say never but that is not how we want to play and draw it up.

After 8 of 9 defensive stops with the gorgui and Cov combo. Ryan is taking gorgui out
Re: Kat is back vs the Pacers GDT
Can we cut Napier?
Re: Kat is back vs the Pacers GDT
Another game another loss. Terrible defensive effort for 3 quarters. Once again Ryan doesn't draw up the last play for KAT. We refuse to give the ball to our best player in game winning situations. Wiggins with a great play though finding a wide open Shabazz for the win for 3 but Shabazz is a 27% 3pt shooter (who is our starting PG by the way) and air balls the final wide open shot.

What you don't like your starting PG to average 9 pts 4 asts on 38% shooting and 27% from 3.
He is so bad. Also why do we not run our last play for KAT ever. I did it last year but the Wolves had 12 last possessions of tied or trailing by 1 possession last year and Kat got 0 shots that didn't come off an offensive rebound.
If we are going to build around Kat can we give him the ball in crunch time instead of Shabazz (even the possession before that, he had a really high pass to Wiggins where Wiggins landed out of bounds)

Yes. PG is important. Even in the Houston system. This team building and coaching is insane. Any PG worth their weight should know how to get Towns the ball. I hate Napier's game.
