How long until Naz makes Towns expendable. I kid I kid

Heh. But seriously, if Rosas and Saunders are going to be dogmatic about never playing two true bigs, then you can't have a guy with as much potential as Reid on the roster never ever being able to be a starter as long as KAT is here. So if some other team sees him as a future starting NBA Center, then we need to trade him.

Wiggins with another moribund game...ugh. Between him and Teague, just can't stand either of those guys with their uneven effort level and high dollar salaries.
Re: OKC vs pups GTD
Andrew scored 10 pts in the 1st half on 4-8 (6 1st quarter shot) shooting, got a total of 4 shots in the whole 2nd half. 3 shots came in the last 3 minutes of the game when it was over. Wiggins has to be better at being forceful but this is my biggest problem with Ryan is we go so long without anything for our best scorers. We need to continue to get Wiggins the ball when he was engaged in the 1st half. He was on his way to another Wiggins vs OKC game and the Wolves went away from him.

Wiggins has disappeared in games his entire career. The word on him in draft scouting reports was that he tended to fade in and out of games. He's a max player in his 6th season. And he's not a big who has to depend on others to get him the ball. His failure to contribute in the second half as a wing/SG is entirely on him. And it's all too typical of the Wiggins we've seen for 5 prior seasons and in line with what scouts criticized him for in college.

Don't disagree with you. Just wish we ran plays to get him going to start the 2nd half. But you are right Wiggins really shouldn't get the benefit of doubt

Re: OKC vs pups GTD
Wiggins can create his own offense, he's not reliant as a spot up 3 point shooter, in fact he should be creating offense if he's supposedly "that good".
Him not getting his is 100% on him as long as he is on the court.
You think LeBron, Kawhi, Butler, etc are at the mercy of the coaching staff? Cmon man. He's a max player and needs to play like it. No he'll not ever be at those top levels but he can be better.
It's like last year against OKC when Ryan had his 1st game as HC and KAT was out, Wiggins went for 40-10 with a crushing dunk that sent the dude (forget his name now) to the hospital. Then he did jack shit the rest of the year.
Motivation is always on him, he'll never care when the team isn't competitive as a contender. I think he could actually be a lot better on a top team, where every game means something. He showed up pretty well in the playoffs too if you remember. He lacks motivation.

I agree. I can absolutely see him being a key cog on a contending team that already has an elite core of stars and role players. It might not happen until his next (much reduced) contract, but at some point he's going to find a fit hopefully that can withstand his inconsistent effort and make the most of those nights that he's "on".

No idea if Wiggins played well/bad. It's irrelevant.
Why are we STILL blaming the coaches? They keep changing... the players stay the same... along with the excuses.
Do fans of other star wing players complain about the coaching? Does D'Antoni get credit for Harden's performances? Vogel? Carlisle?
This is the type of stuff that's on the players. I legit don't want to follow an NBA team that looks over to the sideline to get plays from the coach. Nobody does. This is the NBA. Run a system that gets the ball to good players in good spots and you'll be successful.
Furthermore, Wiggins has led the team in shot attempts in 5 of his 6 seasons. He's at a career high this season. Is Wiggins not getting enough shot attempts really the hill we want to die on?
