Defense continues to play well in KAT's absence. Offense continues to suck in KAT's absence.

I actually won't be quite as upset if we lose this one. Unlike Cleveland, Brooklyn clearly has the better roster playing tonight.

One thing about squads like Brooklyn and Minnesota that get really dogmatic about avoiding all mid range and long 2s at nearly all costs is that it eventually gets easier to defend. Drop coverage essentially concedes the little 10-15 foot jumper or short floater. But if a team isn't willing to take that shot, they often end up forcing a contested 3 or layup that really is a lower probability shot.

You can also switch littles onto bigs knowing that a team like Brooklyn will almost NEVER post up, so using a switching strategy can help ensure a higher % of 3s taken are contested. It's should be no surprise Brooklyn is 28th in 3pt % and the Wolves are 29th.
