Curious how Saunders gets along with his assistants. Ed Pickney is a 12 year NBA Vet and a 16 year assistant coach (12 in the NBA). Glenn went with the country club option.

Not saying he shouldn't of but it will be interesting how players and coaches will respect Ryan

Well actually...Ed Pinckney is part of the country club. He was an assistant from 2007-2010 BEFORE he went to the Bulls. :)

I hope he communicates better at the press conference then he doesn't during the minute long halftime interview with Marney

One advantage he has is he isn't following someone that was particularly awesome in the communication department. He is following Thibs who said a lot of the same stuff in a boring and mostly calm demeanor when talking to the media.

Well, here is one "difference" we can infer...

Kyle Ratke @Kyle_Ratke
Derrick Rose says team will likely play with a faster pace. That was something that was stressed this morning in the team's film session.

Audio Media availability of Layden Ryan Wiggins and Towns is available on SoundCloud on wolves radio.

https://m.soundcloud.com/wolves-radio

I assume that eventually the full video of Ryan will be available in the Wolves website at some point.

Good stuff. Ryan certainly talks like a coach. Go Wolves.

The end of Wiggins' media availability is interesting. Britt Robson asked him if players were consulted, he hesitated, then Robson asked how players found out, he said he thinks they all found out in different ways. Then Robson asked how he found out and he hesitated again and said he just found out. I think it was fairly clear from that exchange that KAT and Wiggins had some part in finally getting rid of Thibs from that exchange be it by actively seeking his removal or being supportive of a move.

Jon K writes in the athletic about how things had reached a boiling point for the Wolves. Says Gorgui was openly seething in the locker room after the Orlando win and had to be calmed down by Rose. Also cites Jones, Tolliver and Teague as three who were dissatisfied. We've heard Teague talk about his minutes concerns openly, but the dissatisfaction of the other three is news. May be nothing though...could just be three guys who thought they deserved more minutes.
