Wish we had drafted Jordan Bell
Cole Aldrich and Brooks are really hard to watch

I am also looking forward to hearing Lip's rant on the stupidity of not holding out for the Bulls' 2nd round pick in the Butler deal. I mean, it should have been "include the 2nd round pick, or no deal"! Never mind the value of Butler. It's that 2nd round pick we REALLY wanted. Because then we could have had Bell.

I haven't seen the game yet, but I don't want to disappoint you. Based on Pork's observation, I'd say we now have absolute proof that I was right. I wouldn't have said 2nd round pick or no deal. I would have been willing to settle for the same deal, but getting Jordan Bell instead of Jimmy Butler. :) Alas, we're stuck with Butler and the Warriors just keep getting stronger adding future stars like Bell.

Might as well hand GSW the championship trophy now. No ones getting past them in 7 games.

The Warriors have champions disease. So much whining after every call. They act like they're above the league and referees. But man can they shoot. Q is right, they have 3 of the best shooters in league history and whem they are all going at the same time it's ridiculous. You have to make them pay on the other end, and the Wolves were able to do that at times.

Yea I notice the whining too. It's bad for the game. I think the officials should be able to start handing out technical fouls for constant whining. Give the coach a bit of freedom but clamp down on the players.

Remember a few years ago the league tried to do that. It lasted for about a year and then reverted back. It takes away from the enjoyment of the game for me.

I recorded the game, but haven't watched it yet. Sounds painful. Would you guys recommend against watching it?
Looking at the box score, I see some positives and negatives.
POSITIVES
1. Butler's all-around game. I like that he combined an efficient 15 points with 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals.
2. Belly's all-around game. Fairly impressive 20 minutes for Belly with 3 assists, 3 rebounds and 3 steals along with high-percentage shooting.
3. The shooting of Towns and Wiggins. Both shot over 50% from the field and from behind the arc.
4. Tyus Jones. Looked pretty good in the box score with 3 rebounds and 3 assists while shooting over 50% the field and behind the arc.
NEGATIVES
1. Obviously, the biggest negative was the ineffective defense (understatement). I get that the Warriors are incredibly good. But giving up 142 points? Hard to know without watching exactly how bad the defense was and who the main culprits were. The turnovers were troublesome and must have contributed significantly the Golden State's high point total.
2. KAT's 6 turnovers and poor showing on the boards. Six turnovers is unacceptable from anyone, especially one of your top players and even more unacceptable from a big. I was also really surprised to see he had only 3 rebounds. That's troublesome.
3. Wiggin's all-around game (or lack thereof). Inexcusable for one of our supposedly top 3 players at 6'9 with long arms and super athletic to end up with 0 rebounds, 1 assist and 0 steals. The Warrior's PG, Curry, had 6 boards, which is more than Wiggins and KAT combined. That's not acceptable against any team.
4. Teague. Nothing positive stands out in his stats except that the guy he was guarding scored 40 points. Yes, Steph Curry is a super star and perhaps the best shooter the League has ever known. But Teague's lackluster offensive stats cry out for something at least a little better on the defensive end.
I'm not going to extrapolate anything from this game. It was an exhibition game against the best NBA team since the Bulls 72-win team in the 90s. And who knows what effect the long trip and grueling Thibs' practices have had on the physical and mental state of the players. But if this team is going to do more than compete for the 7th or 8th seed in the West, then at a minimum, KAT can't have any more 6-turnover/3 rebound games and Wiggins has to make contributions in areas other than scoring and his scoring has to include a higher volume of made threes. Oh, and obviously they can't give up 140+ points to any team, including the Warriors. If anything, this game may have been good for some of these guys as a reminder of how hard they have to work and how far they have to go individually and collectively to be a championship caliber team.

The first half is definitely worth watching. But it is not worth watching the second half...

I watched most of the first half highlights....couldn't bear to watch the 2nd half highlights, as even as we played well in the first half, Golden State was making video game-esque shot after shot, despite some solid contests and close outs. Perhaps we just gave up in the 2nd half.
I really learned nothing from the pre-season about this team other than Thibs top 10 rotation: Butler, KAT, Wiggins, Teague, Taj, Bazz, Dieng, Bjelly, Jones, Crawford. I guess it was intriguing to see Taj take some corner 3's. So there was that too.
I'm sticking with 43 wins.
