Power Forward/Center Trade Targets
Re: Power Forward/Center Trade Targets
Culver for Bagley seems like the right deal for each team.

Also how many of us here over the years were like "Sign Christian Wood". There was a lot of teams that missed out on him but we could have had that guy and maybe even locked him up cheap. Sigh...

Well, the Kings front office should give Gersson a call. We know Gersson won't make the call because someone as big as Bagley doesn't fit the Rosas system.

Christian Wood would have been a great acquisition. He signed with Houston for $13M, so we didn't have the cap space to make a competitive offer. However, I'm sure we could have worked a JJ for Wood sign-and-trade with Detroit. Obviously, the Pistons weren't interested in re-signing him and they gave up more just to get the 19th pick. I have no doubt we could have gotten in a sign-and-trade deal without giving up more than we gave up for Ricky.

Ha, great answer!
A big no from me on trading Culver for Baggageley. We'd be trading an underperforming good guy for an underperforming bad guy. We know who Bagley is...Culver's story is still to be written.

My point is we could have signed him multiple times over the years and possibly locked him up for less than 13 million over multiple years. A lot of these guys don't work out but it feels like we should have been able to be smart enough to sign Wood or Curry or someone the past few years. McLaughlin and Reid are good signs we might actually find some legit talent this way.
Kahn signing Tolliver initially was actually a pretty solid move. Not that it was a big deal but letting him go wasn't very smart. I think Tolliver could have been one of those guys that would have been fairly cheap to keep around would have helped on and off the floor for a franchise that needed someone like that.

Rosas is just waiting until he can deal Juancho for him straight up.
Re: Power Forward/Center Trade Targets
I want nothing to do with Bagley.
I would not move Culver for either of Prince or Nance.
Nance is the one I would like on the team. Or, maybe I would just sign and keep RHJ...
