How about Rose for a guy like Hart? If James has any say, you would think he would push for something like this. Not sure Lakers have any chance to get anyone even close to Rose's caliber due to salary restrictions.

Sign me up!! Lakers hang up the phone. Hart is a solid, cheap rotation player right now with still some moderate upside. They type of player they need to fill out the roster around max salaries. Rose has minimal value due to the lastest absence, I think would of played well the last month he may have returned a late first but that's still a stretch imo. Zero chance now.

I think it also matters if they could very Davis. Sounds like they are not getting Davis so a Rose for Hart doesn't make sense for the lakers

Sometimes dreams really do come true. But sadly this dream deal won't. That's because I'm pretty sure the Orlando front office isn't insane. But if someone could sneak into the Orlando front office headquarters and drop acid in their PBO's coffee tomorrow morning then perhaps this deal can happen.

Considering both places would be targets for buyout players anyway... I would think it would be a PROTECTED 2nd round pick at best.

There's some unconfirmed talk on the interwebs about Saric being on the trading block. I hope not, because many of us see him as a building block going forward, but his reduced minutes under Ryan are some indication of his value here. Hopefully if he was on the block, his nice game in Memphis has changed minds and he is here to stay.

Dallas has already traded both its 2019 1st round pick and its 2019 2nd round pick. The Thunder have traded their 2020 1st round pick, so they can't trade their 2019 or 2021 first rounder. So maybe OKC is offering their 2019 2nd round pick. That would likely be a pick between #50-55. I'd have no interest that sort of return.
