The Jazz half court offense is tough. They just execute so well, especially when Ricky is in there.

Mitchell is destroying bayless. We can't throw wiggs on him?

They are 20th rated O and we couldn't get stops

Kek, What does that mean - 20th rated?

That's deceiving though. Mitchell struggled earlier in the year and they had a really tough schedule. And they didn't have Kyle Korver. Utah is a really, really good team. We simply don't have the talent to compete with them, even with KAT and Wiggins having good games. I mean, Okogie is only getting worse offensively, and I didn't think that was possible! They have no one in their rotation that bad.

we are just so short on players. we really need some players back

the majority of our bench has zero idea what we are doing on defense

Wiggins did have a great game though

I don't know what they should do with okogie. I don't know how productive these extra minutes are when teams aren't guarding him and he still can't make a shot. That has got to get into his psyche. Maybe hes hitting the rookie wall because he isn't giving us anything on either end.

Okogie been real bad. He reminds me of Bazz i'm telling you.

1. I don't know how you can complain about rotations when we are down 4 of our top 8 players. who should play instead of Okogie? Terell is your only option. (I'm guessing Tolliver is nicked)

2. I liked Bazz. But he was bad on both sides of the ball without hussle. Okogie has promise.

We weren't defending anyways, so Wiggs at sg and tolly at Sf.

Fairly dead arena tonight with the blizzard keeping many home, but a spirited effort by both teams. Our guys played hard all night, but Q's right...we're just not good enough to match up with them with all our injuries. Not many teams can survive without their 3 top PGs and best defensive player (and 3-point shooter), so we shouldn't be surprised about these two losses to the Jazz. Essentially Terrell, Bayless and Okogie have replaced Covington, Rose, Teague and Jones, and that is a huge drop off. Terrell showed why he doesn't belong on an NBA roster except as maybe a 15th man. Bayless shot the ball well but turned it over too often and displayed the horrible defense that has prevented a good shooter like him from getting consistent minutes...it's a toss-up whether his pick and roll or on-man defense was worse tonight. Both were awful. And Okogie again made some nice defensive plays, but was a huge negative on offense...1-10 shooting is not going to cut it in the NBA, especially not for 30 minutes.

But overall our team played with intensity, and our two young stars were terrific. Wig showed why he is gradually becoming a plus defender (although Utah managed to stay away from him in the second half by featuring whoever Bayless and Terrell were guarding), and he had one of his best offensive games of the season. Towns was unstoppable on offense when they could get him the ball, which wasn't nearly enough...man, they could have used Tyus' entry passes into KAT tonight. And his meagre total of 6 rebounds was due to not many missed shots by Utah and Saric gobbling up 11 boards.

I'm not discouraged after tonight's loss, but frustrated with the lingering injuries. This season is over if we don't get them back soon. But if they do return, this team can still make the playoffs with this rotation:

KAT/Dieng
Taj/Saric
Rob/Wig/Rose at the wings
Teague/Tyus

Okogie to the D League, give Deng spot minutes when he is needed, and insert Tolliver and Bayless only when 3-point shooting is needed. That's a rotation that can make the playoffs, but we need to get our key players back very soon.
