Id love corey for the vet minimum. He plays fast and hustled his arse off. Hes also a good lockerroom guy and would be a good influence on the young wings (imo, more than butler is).
I'd rather have a guy that brings shooting but Wouldn't hate it either. Thorpe made an interesting point that Brewer would be someone that plays fast and that could help the Wolves pace. We would have another guy that plays hard and he actually plays with SOME purpose unlike Bazz.
You know I love me some Brewer. And the pace thing is real. He legitimately infuses a faster pace on teams he plays for. Maybe it's crazy but maybe Thibs is ready to embrace playing smaller but also utilizing a bench. We can only hope.

OK, if your choice is between Corey Brewer, Michael Beasley, Tyler Ennis, Luke Babbit or Seth Curry, who would you choose?

Seth is gone to the blazers for the minimum.
I think brewer is the most attainable. We know what he brings to the table and we know he is comfortable in minnesota. He's my pick, unless people are more interested in beasley and tolliver carressing knees on the bench

Gotta go Brewer. We know he can fit into a team concept. I gotta think Donovan will push hard to keep him in OKC but maybe its off the table unless Melo is bought out.

That's a decent list. I don't see the need for the PG so i wouldn't go with Ennis even though I like him. Beasley doesn't shoot many 3's so that makes it easier to pass on him and he is more of a stretch PF. So is Babbitt but he actually jacks 3's up. Honestly I would probably just go with Brewer it just feels like having a true Wing that can just play against a bunch of different guys would have value. I think there are some other attainable guys like Treveon Graham and Cunningham I'd take over Brewer.

If we are looking for someone who can provide some offensive firepower off the bench, Beas seems like the clear choice to me. I recognize he played for a poor team last year, but it's diificult to ignore 21.3/9/2.7 per 36 on 51% shooting (40% on 3's). I don't see the other 3 guys (with Curry gone) getting you anything close to that. Thibs is not likely to sign a guy like Beas though.

I'd like to pursue these guys in hopes of getting them to sign for cheap -- in order:
- David Nwaba
- Pat Connaughton
- Patrick McCaw

Monster --- I don't think Cunningham makes sense not that we have Tolliver. I'm intrigued by Trevon Graham. What do you like about him?

Should have included Kyle O'quinn on my list. We still don't have a true rim-protector on this team. What say you all?

I'm a big Nwaba fan. You might recall that I wanted the Wolves to sign him last summer. But the Bulls gave him a qualifying offer, so he's a restricted FA. All we can offer is the minimum, which I'm sure the Bulls would match. I like Connaughton. What do you like about McCaw?
