I don't think they even played that bad. They were missing that little extra spark tonight. Thought it was one of gorgui worst games as a pro and nobody stepped out of the ordinary to help us with the lack of energy we had.

If you want to see Evan Fournier shoot open 3 after open 3 for 32 points and watch Kat continuously not box out Biymbo and let him do whatever he wants because Biymbo decided it was worth playing today and Kat didn't.

Just from the box score, it looks like Butler, Towns, and Gibson performed at least adequately. The Wolves got nothing from their bench - yet again. I'd guess that Wiggins was alright on defense and went back to struggling on offense. And Fournier scored a career-high, which you never want to see.

This is another game where a strong bench could have turned this loss to a win.

Belly getting tossed was BS (afflalo threw 3 punches at belly) hurt a lot. Felt like the whole team was in a funk tonight it was weird, even butler defense was sub par for his standards

The good part about this game is Belly looked like a guy that wasn't going to take anything from a cheap shot vet and made him like a little kid putting him in a headlock after Afflalo threw a punch.

The Wolves didn't play well tonight but credit to the magic theade some plays in this game. The defense of the Wolves evaporated especially for a stretch in the 3rd quarter. I have no idea what they were doing. I wouldn't pulled Someone and played Wiggins and or MGH for defensively especially on Fournier. Augustine played like a top 15 starter in this game and Teague couldn't buy a shot at times after a hot start. Games like this happen sometimes but it is disappointing after such a good stretch. The Magic has some crazy breaks and shots drop in at key times and Biyambo was blocking everything in sight and Birch picked up where he was leaving off just being productive.

Man, I don't know what it is about these Eastern Conference teams that just continue to beat us.

KAT was bad defensively in this one, although the team as a whole did OK. We lost the free throw battle, which is one of the key facets of the game we need to win most nights since we don't take and make enough 3's.

The kinda crazy thing is it feels like a bigger gap existed with the 3 point shooting in this game. The Magic made 11 threes and the Wolves made 7. Being outrebounded 37-51 is the number that jumps out to me as well as the lack of FT attempts you mentioned.

It's almoat amusing we lose to eastern conference teams. This was another one of those games that while we didn't play well and left their shooters open at times it also seemed like they were hitting some crazy or contested shots and we missed some shots that were good looks. Butler wasn't pleased after the game.

Britt Robson said several times on Twitter MGH should have been deployed defensively. I tend to agree although Crawford did do some good things on the offensive end including a couple good passes. I had seen a tweet about Belly and Afflalo had been tossed before I watched the game so I had assumed he would get some minutes. Nope. I have doubts that was the deciding factor in the game though.
