Yes! Unless there is a big time rim protector available like a Rudy Gobert.

They need a PG more than anything and there just aren't any.

They need Jaylen Hands or even Shamorie Ponds. Getting someone else at any other position and they need to seriously consider trading the incumbent.

Build a TEAM.

Please, no more mentions of Jaylen Hands. He's not an NBA quality guard.

Ok. if that's how you feel then fine. Then you have to concede that this draft really doesn't help this team. Any other position and they're gonna have to make some real tough decisions about where this team stands moving forward. Who do you want? Ja Morant?

Get best player available and figure it out from there. I'd rather have the best player challenging guys for minutes at a position of strength then a Lesser player coming in and not having to earn his playing time.

There's a long list of guard prospects that are better and more attractive draft selections than Hands, who may not even get drafted if he declares this upcoming summer. That's what I was getting at.

PG is super weak this year.

Especially if you get into the top 3, you take BPA because you are looking for a superstar, not just a small upgrade over Saric or Roco. I'd even take a "center". Great players can defend multiple positions and hit the open 3 on offense. KAT can play the 4 if a better inside defender is drafted for instance. If we had Gobert this defense would be elite for instance and offensively not suffer to much.
