Malachi Richardson, Bogdanovic, 10 and 34

Barton/Beasley, Chandler/Faried, #13, Denver 2nd

MKG and 11

O'Quinn, 8, and a 2nd

I'd take any of these.

I would look at the Trail Blazers also. Honestly think we could get Aminu and Harkless plus the #20 for #7 and filler. That is if we can't get Isaac at number #7 ourself.

I think it is all real, I agree with a lot of his overall views and player assessments but if it has anything to do with Rubio or how much an upcoming free agent is going to get paid then he enters an alternate dimension where Rubio's value doubles and every free agents price tag gets cut in half

Maybe not necessarily realistic but something like this
Boston out 1 and Crowder
In Butler
Chicago out Bulter
IN 1 and 7
Minnesota out 7
IN Crowder

Or what about our year after year favorite number, 7 straight up for Aaron Gordon (looked pretty good once they got ride of Ibaka.

whoever we pick traded to Utah in the off season with Utah extending Favors before sending him over.

I don't know what to do this year. I love the idea of trading the #7 pick for a great vet player, ala Butler or George. But realistically, not sure either player gets moved without a godfather offer.

That being said, I also don't think adding role players like Aminu and Harkless (both of whom I like) will turn any corners for this team. Singular talent wins in this league more than any other. So role players + trading down don't seem like viable options. While I would state very clearly that we need better bench players, I also think we can upgrade via FA. I think it is stay put at #7 or trade for a very good and established player.

I think there is other talent that can be had this offseason as well (think Drummond, Lilliard, Jordan, etc)

Here's my full future mode trade:

Ricky and the #7 for Julius Randle and D'Angelo Russel.

We sign: Patty Mills and The best 4 we can afford.

Don't know if the Lakers do this trade, and I'm sure there are going to be angry posters over this one.

Love that trade Rap. Make sense for all teams involved. Although I actually think Boston would want more than Butler for the 1st overall / Crowder. Crowder would be a great fit on this team and he's signed to a bargain of a contract - 7.5 mil per over next three years. And he's only 26 years old.

I like that Blazers trade as well. If Blazers want some cap relief and Zach is not ready in the beginning of the season, I would ask Crabbe as well. He is currently well overpaid but he is really good three point shooter and Wolves lack seriously threee point shooting unlit Lavine is healthy. Larger role for Crabbe during the absence of Lavine, could increase his trade value. When Lavine would be back, I would try to send Crabbe to Brooklyn or Philly.

I don't like Randle and I think Rubio might have better trade value than Russell. I think the #7 pick is worth more than Russell at this time. So maybe the 7th pick for Russell and that late 1st they have.

I WOULDN'T GIVE UP THE #7 PICK OR RUBIO FOR RUSSELL. I'VE READ SOME THINGS RECENTLY THAT CALL HIS WORK ETHIC INTO QUESTION. READ THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS FROM FORMER LAKER COACH BYRON SCOTT:

"I'm still a big fan of Julius Randle," Scott said. "He is a terrific young man and is really mature for his age. I think he wants to be great."

Scott has different feelings about Russell. He said the then-rookie's demotion was partly because he frequently arrived to the Lakers' facility only minutes before practice started. So, Scott eventually required his young players to complete individual workouts 30 minutes before and after practice.

Though Walton has given Russell positive reinforcement regarding his play and has seen him participate in offseason workouts, he often mentioned Russell's ongoing process in establishing a routine. Despite Russell averaging 15.6 points, 4.8 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.4 steals during his second season, Johnson and Pelinka instructed him to focus on improving his consistency, conditioning and leadership.

"I don't know if his work ethic has gotten any better. Some of the people I've talked to in the organization said that it hasn't," Scott said of Russell. "I just wish him all the best. The maturity level will catch up to him sooner or later when he realizes it's an honor and a privilege to be in the NBA and be in the position that he's in. He has to take full advantage of it."

"Scott believes Clarkson took full advantage of his time, morphing from a seldom-used rookie into a definitive starter in 2014-15. A fan of Clarkson's work ethic, Scott did say he found him "pressing in trying to score more and do more" during his second season because of his pending free agency. The Lakers ultimately re-signed Clarkson to a four-year, $50 million deal last summer."

THEN CONSIDER THIS COMMENT FROM MAGIC JOHNSON. IT'S NOT AS DIRECT AS SCOTT'S COMMENTS, BUT READ BETWEEN THE LINES:

"I think that D'Angelo, he has it, it's just got to come out of him," Johnson said. "He could be really special if he pushes himself, especially in this offseason. Because he can score that ball. We want him to be more of a leader now."

Did you see Magic said Ingram is basically untouchable? I thought that was pretty interesting.
