Now that is a trade I would do in 2 seconds. Like I said I won't argue trading Wiggins for an all star talent

He's the next star that is going to be unhappy with his situation and want out. New Orleans needs to blow it up and try again this off-season.

Wiggins, Dieng, and OKC's first round pick for Davis and Moore.

How far off is that? A lot? Fuck.

They would probably want Patton instead of gorgui. Also probably want to dump hill on us for Aldrich.

But it can't be that far off. But can the Celtics offer better with a combo of brown/tatum/1st (Lal/Sac)/Memphis pick/rozier.

Celtics probably have the upper hand but we are probably 2nd

Yeah, you're definitely right about that. I wasn't sure if it would work salary-wise, but it would.

Wiggins, Patton, OKC's first-round pick, and Aldrich's near expiring contract for Davis and Moore.

I would refuse to take back Hill at all costs.

Depending on your opinion of Andrew, that's a competitive offer should New Orleans make AD available.

The better question would be, "Is a core of Towns, Davis, and Butler good enough to win a championship?"

And I know Abe and perhaps Q will point out that the league is built on wing play. I don't disagree, but hypothetically, those twin unicorns plus Butler is a lot to deal with. Could Golden State, or Boston, or Toronto matchup with that as currently constructed? I don't think so...

Just spitballing, of course.

We are in the conversation at least. Of course super long shot a trade could happen.

Would the Sixers or Celtics trade valuable draft picks for Wiggins

Anthony Davis is signed for 3 more years for a decent amount... less than Wiggins will be making. He averaged 28/12 last year. He's at 27/11 (and rising) this season. He's a good defender. He's shooting at a league average on three pointers as he tries to extend his range. He's arguably a Top 5 player in the league. And he's still young... only 24 years old.

It's going to take significantly more than what has been tossed about here to get Anthony Davis. The guy would be one of the league's most coveted players instantly if made available.

As for tonight's DVR review...

The Wolves came out with great energy. Was it the extra attention with the Super Bowl (and guests) in town... or the 3 days off ahead and a promise from Thib to let them whoop it up for the next couple of days?

Whatever it was, it worked. It was obvious.

Another solid win.

I got to the game very early tonight, my gal and I didn't realize it was an 8:00 start. Gave me an opportunity to watch most of the players warm up well before tip. They came out in pairs with the assistant coaches warning them up. If anyone watched Wig warm up they wouldn't trade anything of value. It was so nonchalant and lacked any sort on focus or intensity. His jumper is different every single shot, release, form and rotation on the ball. This is obviously no secret, we see it in games. I found it very discouraging watching it. I don't wanna make it sound like this is something earth shattering, but thought it was very interesting. I've come to despise him as a player,so I may come off as non objective about him I know that. Just thought I would share. Another stellar game again tonight from him. But he is trying more on defense now, so that counts for something:)
