You realize he was a -36 in his first 33 minutes here, right? I haven't looked since then but I'd bet it's still negative by a good margin. Rose is not a capable rotation player in the league today. He's a spark plug in the same mold (but different styles) as Jamal Crawford.

Rose isn't a capable rotation player huh, I must have been dreaming these past few games! iirc you were one of those who said Rose was completely washed up right after his first game with us so I can understand you clinging to your opinion and ignoring recent box scores even after his stellar play.

I mean to Cams point he hasn't been a quality rotation player for the last 3+ years in 3 different teams and situations.
4 quarters of quality basketball dosen't change that. I mean shabazz, shved, chris johnson, anthony Bennett all have had quality 4 quarter stretches dosen't me they are rotation players.
We will see if his shot at the rim is not going in he becomes mine a Jamal Crawford and he is a massive net negative. He is also hurt again so we will see how he plays after another lower leg injury.
Like I said in another post if he gives us the production he has given us over the last 4 quarters in 10 of hopefully 20ish games left he was worth the flyer.
But 4 quarters dosen't change what he has done over multiple years.

Why we are progressing from capable to now quality which I never said when my initial post was only about people saying Rose was done? You guys can debate whether he will be a quality bench piece or just a bench piece as I'm not sure how he will turn out but he's clearly got some left in the tank.

Rose has been finishing well at the rim well for quite a while. BBReference says he is finishing at a comical 89% this year which obviously will go down but that's one of the legit strengths of his game and he actually gets there. The encouraging...surprising and maybe shocking part of his game as a Wolf has been his defense. It's gone from passable to somewhat good. His reputation was bad to horrific. If he is Jamal Crawford type that can get you some buckets (worse shooter but looks to pass more) that's something more of an average defender than a bad one like Crawford that would have plenty of value. Can he keep that up? Idk I'm skeptical but it's worth giving him credit for what he has done so far. Even the Dunc'd On guys mentioned his defense looked pretty solid and they disliked that signing as much as just about anyone. Hopefully he can get healthy and provide actually some more solid play because we can use it for the last few games of the season.
